BEAUTY FINDS

Don't you just love pretty toes?  I do.  So I just have to share this.  Just in case you haven't tried Sally Hansens Gel Polish.  It does the job.  I have never gone and gotten a Pedi.  Can you believe that!  Yep! that is true.  I am sure I am not alone, but for the most part I feel like I am.  You see I have the ugliest and I do mean ugliest toes ever.  Well it is more like the nails.  So I just keep them polished and looking cute so they don't scare anyone :). I have become a master at doing my own Pedi's. So when I came across this polish set I thought I should give it a try.  Omg!! it is fabulous.  It has stayed on without chipping for almost three weeks.  It really has held up.  Now this is the only color I have tried.  Directions say: two coats of polish and one coat of top coat.  I however did two coats of polish, first coat let dry completely then second coat let dry completely.  Then I added two top coats letting them dry completely in between coats.  My opinion a MUST try

Another little great find is this Make-up Mist and Set .  I only use drug store make up.  I am not into that expensive make-up.  Heck buying eye shadow that cost $6 -$8 dollars is to much for me.  Most of the time I can't justify buying it.  So I found this Elf Make-up Mist and Set at the grocery store. I thought "what the heck lets try it."  I am not really sure what it is suppose to do.  But I notice I do not need to touch my make-up throughout the day at all.  So if that is its purpose then I will say its a gem at $2.00 a bottle.  Ya'll should try it.  What is your favorite make up tip?

Thanks for reading...(HUGS)

WHY I BLOG

Hmmm! I have lots on my mind. So hopefully I get it all out on here.  Not sure if that will be a good thing or a bad thing.  But, it for sure will be the honest thing :).

I was able to spend some time with my oldest daughter the other day.  She was asked by her friend " why does your mom blog?  Is she trying to make money off her blog?"  To our surprise we did not even know you can make money off blogging.  Hence why everyone and their mother are doing it.  So it really made me think why am trying to do this blog.

WILD CURLS

If only I had stood in the straight hair line...lol!!  Boy oh boy!!! If it was only that simple.  I have dislike my hair for as long as I can remember.  Not only is it curly but it is so thick and freeze.   The texture is just Yuck!!!  It is very brittle.   I have had short hair for about fifteen years.  I decided to cut it one day and holy moly was that the best thing I ever did.   I think my hair weights about seven pounds all on its own..lol.  OK!  OK!  So I got carried away there.

We'll it wasn't until a few years ago that I have learned to embrace my crazy curly hair.  And I was doing just fine letting it grow out and walking tall with all these curls.  Since we moved to Texas the humidity has been crazy on my hair.  I just can't seem to find the right product for it.    I need HELP! HELP! HELP!
If you have any suggestions please let me pass them along.

I have tried many different brands to help maintain my curls and what I find works best for me is this Curly Sexy Hair brand.  I was never big on using the whole line of any brand.  But I decided to give it a try.  Meaning shampoo, conditioner, mouse, hair gel, cream.  I love how they all live my hair.  I usually run my hand or a pic through my hair when its semi dry which helps with shaping it and giving it some bounce.

About three ago I saw thin John Freida brand in a commercial and thought why not give it a try.  So I have been using only these two.  I absolutely love the Go Curlier it makes my curls look beautiful.  Very tight and bounce.  You do need to blow dry them.  Works best when it is heat activated.  I am not so crazy of the Unwind Curls.  Just makes my hair feel heavy and oily.

After trying something new.  I think I will just stick to the Curly Sexy Hair brand.  If your hair is curly, what is your favorite brand to use?
